Student Lotto Winning

How did students miss out on a big lottery win?

Harfordshire residents Liam McCrohan and Rachel Kennedy were incredibly disappointed when they found out that the numbers they had been betting on all the time had come up, but the £182 million lottery jackpot had not.

For almost two months in a row, the couple had used the same set of numbers in the game, and eventually that set did turn up. But there was a problem: the girl had an automatic subscription to the lottery draw. That is, the necessary sequence was automatically set. And at the necessary moment, at the next draw, there simply wasn’t enough money in the account for the bet, so there was no payment.

Lotto Winning and Disappointment

Rachel talks about logging on to the draw through her phone and seeing her numbers. Of course, there was no limit to her happiness as the jackpot amount was very large.

She told everything to her mum and her boyfriend and there was no limit to her happiness. Some time later the operator told her that there was no money in the account and therefore the payment for the lottery ticket did not go through.

But the message had little effect on the couple, and they claimed they were neither richer nor poorer. Let the money go to whoever really needs it most.
